Terms and Conditions

Welcome to 10.08 Creations! Before we start working together, please take a moment to read through these terms. This helps us both stay clear and aligned so you know exactly what to expect when working with me. By booking a service with 10.08 Creations, you agree to the following terms:

1. Services

I currently offer:

  • Podcast Audits

  • Podcast Editing

  • Video Editing

Each service includes the agreed-upon deliverables outlined at the time of booking and/or in your invoice. I offer one complimentary round of revisions per project. Additional revisions will incur an extra fee, which will be discussed before proceeding.

Clients may send their raw footage or files through any method that works best for them (Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer, etc.). Final deliverables will be provided via Google Drive, unless another delivery method is requested.

2. Payment

All podcast and video editing payments are processed via Stripe and billed per episode.
Podcast audit payments are processed through Squarespace at the time of booking.

A 50% deposit is required to secure your project, and the remaining balance will be due upon completion before final files are delivered.

3. Refunds

You may request a full refund within 48 hours of payment, provided that work has not yet begun.
After that 48-hour window or once work has started, deposits become non-refundable.

Partial refunds may be issued only if:

  • You paid in full upfront and work has not yet begun, or

  • I need to cancel the project for any reason.

If you choose to cancel an ongoing project after work has started, no refund will be available.

4. Turnaround Time

My standard turnaround time is 5–7 business days per episode or video.
If you need something sooner, rush editing is available for an additional $75 per episode/video.

Please note: I’m not responsible for delays if your files, materials, or feedback are delivered late.

5. Ownership & Usage Rights

You own full rights to all final audio and video deliverables once your invoice is paid in full.

I do, however, ask to retain permission to use portions of your content (audio or video) for portfolio, promotional, and social media purposes, unless otherwise requested in writing.

If you request music, I can source royalty-free or licensed tracks for an additional fee. However, I strongly prefer that clients provide their own music to ensure proper usage rights and brand consistency.

6. Communication

You can reach me via email for all new inquiries and active projects.
For ongoing clients, we can also chat via Google Chat for project communication.

My communication hours are Monday–Friday, 10 AM to 6 PM EST, and sometimes Saturdays.
Messages received outside these hours may be responded to the next business day.

7. Cancellations & Termination

You may cancel a project at any time, but please note:

  • Refunds are not available once work has begun.

  • Any remaining balance for completed work must still be paid.

I reserve the right to terminate a project at any time due to nonpayment, lack of communication, or a breach of these terms.

8. Confidentiality

All materials, recordings, and content you share with me are kept strictly confidential.
I will never release, share, or use any unreleased material without your consent.

All client files are stored securely and will be deleted 90 days after final delivery, unless otherwise agreed.

9. Limitation of Liability

While I always take great care with every project, 10.08 Creations cannot be held responsible for:

  • Loss of data or files after delivery

  • Delays caused by technical issues or late client communication

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of my services

My total liability for any claim related to services will never exceed the total amount paid for that project.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict of law principles.

11. Agreement

By submitting payment, signing an invoice, or booking a service with me, you acknowledge that you’ve read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
